Guest boobuck Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Hi, is there by any chance a software that reads barcodes? Like worldcard? For example is it possible to take a picture of a barcode from an invoice and then a program on ppc reads all information: when you gotta pay, to whom, what number of bank account, what amount etc.? And then you can export it to calendar? Maybe it would be to beautiful to have such soft but maybe something like this exists?;) Thanks Piotr
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Well firstly all that information would have to be encoded in the barcode, and then the reading application would need to know the format it was stored. Such an application probably doesn't exist, but could be created. Are you creating the barcodes yourself? If so, you can create free text Quickmark codes here: http://www.quickmark.com.tw/En/diy/?qmText, which you could then read with the Quickmark reader and cut / paste into your calendar. P
