Kaiser Notification & new sms

The phone is continuously blinking that I have a new sms!

I restarted, same thing!

I went through each and every sms in my inbox/email folders so that if one was "new" it would be read since I entered it.

Still blinking, so I uninstalled it, restarted and re-installed it. Still blinking!!

I then uninstalled it, restarted, installed it this time on my storage card, restarted and same! Still damn blinking.

I even turned off all light notifications and restarted, then enabled blinking, still blinking! I even changed lights but still blinked green and blue!

Wheres the malfunction?

You are supposed to have a green blinking light to tell you that you have phone service. The blue one is to tell you that Bluetooth is on.

If you get a text, and have it set to blink, it turns yellow.

Do you by any chance know the Hotmail INCOMING and OUTGOING Mail Servers host names. I am setting a hotmail account on my device?

Install Kaiser Notifications software. Search for it on here - it was created by Phil Lee. You can also have call, sms, email notifications too if you want. A top app ;)

I am using Kaiser Notification app!

To check what might be happening, assuming you have no unread messages showing anywhere, use a registry program and browse to: (you can get a Task Manager application here which includes a registry editor http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\State then Messages.

Open the MMS folder, if you have a folder in here called Unread, check the values, if count is other than 0, then change it to 0.

Move down to the SMS folder and check it's Unread folder, if the count here is not 0 then change it to 0.

This should stop the flashing, however if these then get reset back to a value other than zero when you have no unread messages then it points to Windows Mobile really thinking it has some messages that are unread.

If both these values are already zero then I'm at a loss to what else to suggest.
