Guest chaznet Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 After a few days, I'm beginning to see the navigation wheel as a relative to the touch-strip on my Dash: something to be turned off. Twirling my thumb around on the wheel, half the time going nowhere, doesn't make sense when I can just push on it to scroll. All the unintentional cursor moves are becoming an annoyance. Has anyone found a registry hack to turn off the twirling function of the Navigation Wheel? I'd rather just use it as a d-pad.
Guest gottifour Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 I hope someone can figure this out too. The lag is too much for me. I would rather just use the directional pad.
Guest Midian Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 lol lag???? mine is pretty responsive. idk know why people complain about lag. in fact my scroll wheel seems a little to responsive. in a video someone said "it takes about a quarter turn to actually move" but mine takes about 1/2 of that so in a quarter turn, i make 2 turns instead of 1. is this normal?
Guest kwoodall Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Mine is one of the rarely responsive wheels. It doesn't bother me too much, but it can be quite annoying in games. I would like to find a way to turn it off as well. Kermit Woodall Managing Editor GadgetNutz.com
Guest feoysolo Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 I don't know if this applies to anyone else, but I thought my Shadow's wheel was unresponsive at first but it turns out it was a combination of my dry callused hands and the smooth plastic of the wheel itself. A little moisturizer on my thumb and WOW! Unfortunately I'm not going to carry around hand lotion to use every time I pull my phone out, but if someone else is having this problem then maybe putting your hands in gloves full of vaseline at night is the fix you are looking for.
