Guest mandt Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Here's a new angle on an old trick. there's been a regedit around for ages to tweak the thickness of the scrollbars: http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Windows_M...I_Modifications Well I was thinking, if your device has touchFLO you don't even need a scrollbar, and the UI looks so much better without it just set the value of the right scrollbar to 0 make the ugliness go away, and it looks even better in fullscreen ;)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 That is very, very cool! Personally I don't get on with TouchFlo scrolling that well, but it's a neat trick ;) P
Guest mandt Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Thank you ;) There's always got the D-Pad, or the scroll wheel if you've got one :(
Guest monkeygadge Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Nice tweak! Works brilliantly on the Touch Dual! Cheers!
Guest Madeye Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 I just gave this a whirl and found that when set to 0 you can still see the remnants of the scrollbars (the little lines normally on the 'active' part of the scrollbar). I hoped it would completely remove them. Still, nice idea and I've dropped my scrollbars down to 2 pixels so they're not taking up space but they still help indicate your position on a page... which you'd lose if they were gone! Thanks!
