If I cut my (hook over ears) A2DP headset in two, Will one side still work ?

At the moment I use a standard mono headset to listen to music via bluetooth, but the sound is rubbish, using bluecast.

I only want to have one ear piece but good quailty sound via bluetooth.

Haha, what a weird idea!

If you cut it in two, is it still gonna stay on your ear? ;) If so, can you open them up and break the connection to the second earpiece in a reversible way to test first?

Which headphones btw?

Isn't it easier to get an A2DP eaubud pair like the Nokia 12W or the Plantronics 260 (WARNING: only get the latter if you aren't using the MS BT stack!) or any Sonys and just don't plug-in one of the buds in your other ear?
