Is there a comprehensive list of phones and features anywhere....

I'm looking for something that lists all (or a big proportion of) current phones and lets a user select the features that they want and gives a list of those phones which have them.

A bit like some of the various manufacturers do for their own phones and the providers do for the phones they supply, but combining all of them together? So not manufacturer, dealer or air time specific.

Ideally, to include things like: keypad, number pad, gps, 3G etc etc etc.

You could try http://pdadb.net for pda style phones but just be aware that it's not always 100% correct...

It's good, but as you say, not perfect.

Also, a bit too complicated! All I want is to choose say, GPS, not to have to choose exactly which GPS and thereby exclude all other GPSs! Likewise keyboards. I want a keyboard, not fussed whether it is built in or slide or..., but I can only select 1 option.

Yup, I wish one could create more deliberate search criteria, not just the pre-defined ones.

(However, if you want to know which PDA's are SIRFStar III (better) and which Qualcomm (somewhat worse)-based, then, as a rule of thumb, only XScale / Samsung / TI-based PDA's (that is, very few new and/or current models) have the former.)

www.gsmarena.com also has one that covers both smart and normal phones, but only for GSM carriers.
