Guest CorruptedSanity Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 In order to disable showing SIM contacts in pocket Outlook and accordingly in Spb Diary I set the following registry key to 0: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Phone/ShowSIM\Ok another issue, after resetting the phone, the value goes back to 1. So: 1- Hide sim contacts works only for contacts app not spb diary 2- Resetting the phone redisplays sim contacts. Im fixing issue 1 with spb forums, but what the heck is up with issue # 2?

Have you tried powering the handset down rather than performing a soft reset? That should force any registry changes to be saved.
Guest masaki Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Hide sim contacts works only for contacts app not spb diary 2- Resetting the phone redisplays sim contacts. This is a known issue. Check out this thread for a CAB file to remedy the problem. Also PocketToolman2 hides SIM contacts after soft-reset as well. However, you need to have it set to Run at Startup.
Guest CorruptedSanity Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Ok I changed the registry value and then powered down as opposed to soft resetting and it still shows the SIM contacts. Ill try Masaki's way even though I think changing the value should work.
