Networks start to make serious money from Data

Everyone bleating about the other networks not matching T's wnw deals should read Voda's recent financials. They are on course to make £2billion this year from data alone. The other networks are starting to see similar growth.

So its not all about cheap unlimited deals...

After spending £5billion off their profit on expenses, they are banking £4.5billion as retained profit/cash...

The good news for consumers is that they recognise that their profitability comes mainly from customers using more of their cheaper services - so by dropping tariff charges, they make more money.
