Factory reset

How do i go abut doing a factory reset of the thing?

Ive decided to return it because of the stuck pixel ;)

Id like to get it back to factory default though before i do.

Any ideas guys how to do this?

No restore cd ?

Guess you can delete all your porn off it via the commandline ;)

Cheack the manual ;) Theres a method allowing you to "recover" it, i'd guess this resets it? Mine has a stuck pixel too, you managed to get a RMA for that?

I used the Asus utility to copy the recovery disk to a USB stick. Works great!

Thanks guys sorted it uing the flash utility and booting from a USB stick.

No,Im just going to return it as unwanted and ive re orderd from somewhere else ;) ...hoping this ones going to be ok.

I hate stuck pixels....ive tried repairing it using different software .etc but its not budging.

Yeah i should have done the same really, luckily its just stuck on blue when the screen is black, so 99% of the time you can't see it. Still annoying though ;p

Got my replacement through today and thankgod no dead pixels ;)

Just gotta crack the thing open now to install the Extra ram and find if there's a pci-e slot

This is the 3rd ive had :(

Ive got another here going back....tempted to open the thing and have a look.
