Guest revo2wheels Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 looking for a good uk voice/text/data plan and have question about using T-mobile flext 20/25 + web'n'walk can anyone confirm that exhange 'push' email still works fine as is included within the fair use 'unlimited' policy? Is it also true that IM is not allowed by policy? Experiences appreciated.... Regards C
Guest theodotcom Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 i've used web and walk with exchange and pop3 emails and have had no problems, not sure about IM but am sure they mention that its not allowed in their terms and conditions, if you want to use IM you need the web and walk plus package, and if you want to use IM and VOIP you need web and walk max, on plus and max you can also use your phone as a modem to connect with your laptop if your phone has that feature.

However I never noticed a thing when using my phone on the basic web and walk for all these services. However im not a heavy user either so that might be why! Thanks Phill

If you exceed 1GB per month, we may tell you to reduce your future use. If you again exceed 1GB per month, we may tell you that we are going to apply network protection controls, resulting in a reduced network speed for 14 days. If you exceed 1GB per month for a third time , we may tell you that we are going to apply further network protection controls, resulting in a reduced network speed until you upgrade your price plan to include a larger data allowance. We do not permit use of this service to provide modem access for a computer or for peer to peer file sharing, internet phone calls or instant messaging. Roaming charges apply.
