Broken Multiple Select

Programs like Resco Explorer and Mail no longer allow the selection of multiple files or email messages (lines) by dragging if the scroll bar is present. The items now scroll only. That means if I have 10 messages, for instance, and I want to delete them, I must choose them one at a time until I've deleted enough so the scroll bar disappears; then I can select multiple messages. I suspect HTCCube (which I briefly experimented with) changed a registry entry which 'broke' multiple selection. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same. Wish I'd never installed it really because I can't select txt now either within IE etc. I haven't tried removing it encase it breaks something else!

It does still work, if you press and hold the stylus on the first mail you should notice a sequence of dots surround the point as they do if you drag the stylus down to select the multiple mails...
