Guest Transform Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 1. i have enabled the gps option for the camera and found the registry tweak to make it save to the folder of my choice instead of My POI, however is there an option to make it save to the storage card? 2. each time i open up the 'pictures and videos' app from the start menu, it open the my pictures on the device. i can change this to show the storage card pictures but once the app is closed down and reopened, it shows the device view again. is there a registry tweak to make it always open the pictures and video on the storage card?
Guest mandt Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Q1: Check this thread out: http://www.modaco.com/content/HTC-Kaiser-K...ra-application/ Q2: I made some new shortcuts for the pics and vids app to take you straight to the card here: http://www.modaco.com/content/Pocket-PC-Ge...of-your-choice/ Enjoy ;)
Guest Transform Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 thanks. the 1st one worked great. for the 2nd one, i have set the right softkey (using the t-mobile app) to be 'pictures & video' and so having just a shortcut won't work dont think? it may also only be a temporary thing and i didnt want to have to poke around the registry for this if possible.
Guest mandt Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 You need to put the new 'Pictures' shortcut in your start menu, and map the softkey to that, not Pictures and Videos. the shortcut must be in the start menu for the softkey app to see it
Guest Transform Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 worked a charm thanks alot! while browsing through the folders, i noticed some audio files in the root directory and they seen to be some of the ones that came with the phone. Alouette.mid ding.amr Dogbark.wav and also: GoogleMaps_compressed.CAB T-Mobile.jpg can i move these or will it screw things up?
Guest mandt Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 They can all be safely removed, though you may need to use a third party file explorer if the built in one doesn't let you Resco explorer is my first choice, Total commander is a good freeware alternative
Guest Transform Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 i have total commander but i didnt want to remove them, just put them where they need to be. i think the .mid and .wav belong in the \Windows\Rings folder? not sure about ding.amr or the googlemaps but t-mobile.jpg is the background for my bootupscreen.
