Hey,

I was wondering, google released their own mobile platform: Android, this is a complete free open-source platform.

Is it possible to run android on the S710?

And if i install android on my phone, will i be able, with hard reset, to get my windows mobile 6 back?

No.

It's not possible to run Android on any devices as of yet (as far as I know and if they do, it's not complete)

Google haven't released the full source yet and I imagine it's not even complete since the emulator only has basic functionality, there have been a few people trying to get it going on different platforms but the only thing available to them are the binaries which google released with the emulator and SDK, however it'll probably get ported to quite a few devices when google release full source code. The biggest issue is probably getting the linux kernel to run.

Android is already up and running.

it seems you have not seen the android video. See the video here

and if you observe carefully doesn't that device resemble the palm treo 500v which is a windows mobile device.

so figure... :(
