Guest swapnilgyani Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Hey guys, I have been using the Vox for almost a month now and am very happy with it. I just have one problem staring at me... The place I work has introduced a policy which disallows employees to carry camera phones into the workplace. Some of the nokia phones have plug-and-play cameras, so the users can just remove the camera from the phone manually! However, that is not the way I wanaa go. I was wondering if there was some software-driven way to disable the camera - maybe relocating the camera.exe file, changing some registry setting...anything at all. Any help in this direction will be greatly appreciated. I'd really hate to give this phone away because of this new policy. No, changing the job isn't an option ;)
Guest ICQ_Eagle Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 And you think that anyone would believe you that it's disabled? How many hours do you wanna discuss that every morning when entering your workplace? It's actually also disabled before pressing the camera button, hehehehe. When it comes to my S710 then changing job would be THE option! ;)
Guest swapnilgyani Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 If pressing the camera button doesn't invoke the camera, I can say that I've removed the physical camera from the device, like the nokias! ;)
