Guest SomeaznPunk Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 I normally use TCPMP to play videos on Pocket PC phones, but since the Shadow integrates Windows Media Player so well into the interface, I want to try it out. However, it doesn't seem to be able to play .avi files. Specifically, those encoded with Xvid. Anyway to change that? I converted some of my movies into WMV, but that increased the file size substantially.

I wouldn't expect WMP to play .mkv or .ogm movies, but certainly .avis, including encoded with .xvid. Have you installed TCPMP on the Shadow? That should install codecs capable of playing xvid.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 Yeah, TCPMP / Coreplayer is your best bet! P
