Stream media from BBC.CO.UK - No sound?

I want to be able to stream radio to my SPV - eg www.bbc.co.uk/radio4 and listen to the programs - eg Dead Ringers

The page loads OK and says 'Now Playing' with the Play & Pause icons etc, but no sound. :lol:

Is it really streaming, or does the SPV not support this streaming std (what is it by the way?)

Also - the BBC news website (news.bbc.co.uk) streams a lot of stuff in Real Media, any news on a Real OS plugin?

Again on the BBC news website is a ticker along the top which is java based, is there a JVM (Java Virtual Machine) for smartphone yet? We use a few websites here at work which are java based and don't display.

And finally (!) can you get the SPV to vibrate & play a ring tone at the same time - a la Nokia?

Yup: Programs->Settings->Profiles->Edit->Ring Type.

Now RealPlayer support (which is the only streaming BBC uses).

There's rumours of a Java VM, but nothiong concrete yet.
