music player tab on HTC home screen

so i did a hard reset and the music player tab ( that i thaught was there as standard) has gone.

how can i get it back?

also.

is there a cab for sprite back up? dont want to use the one on the CD as it means getting the PC out.

You need to edit your registry to get our music tab back,

HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCHome

Add new string,

Tabsetting = 1,2,3,4,5,6

You can change the order of the numbers to sort the tabs how you like

1 = Clock tab

2 = Favourite People tab

3 = Weather tab

4 = Launcher tab

5 = Music tab

6 = Profiles tab

I don't know if you know how to edit the registry but if you don't then you could install schens custom htchome with options, a quick google for !!!FIXED HTC Kaiser 6 button Home Plugin by schen will find it for you

Re Sprite backup you will need to use the one from the CD as it is registered, the one you can DL from their site is a trial only.
