I780 release date

Has anyone got any news on a release date for the Samsung I780 smartphone. Various sites are touting Jan 2008 but has anyone heard of a firm release date and where will be the first European country.

Not really heard much about it. I wish they'd ditch their proprietary connector and go miniUSB tho. SO frustrating!

Ive been looking forward to this phone since first seeing it..

Just read the review on mobile-review and it looks to be the perfect device for me since i loved the treo formfactor.

Ive heard over on coolsmartphone that its listed as coming soon on the orange site as its an orange exclusive...i cant seem to find it though.

When orange list a phone as coming soon how far away would you say its from release?

Little bit puzzled by the GPS comment ....with it not allowing tracking with any 3rd party apps?....Surely its the same as the kaiser isnt it?
