Unable to open .cab files.

Okay, the thing is that I was removing stuff that I considered to be "extra" on my phone (some readmes, etc, etc) at the end phone works just fine except now I can't open any .cab file that I put in my phone.

Nothing happens when I press on them. What could I screw up? Is there a way to make it work again?

Does that mean losing all I have on my phone?

You will need to back-up all files you have stored on the phone itself as the hard reset will return the device to factory state.

Contacts, Calendar should be synced with Outlook anyway and your My Documents folder too if you do this with ActiveSync.

Check this on your SP's registry...

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cabfile\Shell\Open\Command\Default

Value of 'Default' should be wceload.exe "%1"
