Guest romeo26 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 iam trying to sync my moto q9h with outlook using activesync, but it keeps on giving me this problem: cannot synchronize with the outlook profile you are using, because a diffrent profile was previously set up or the profile is password-protected, please open out look using the appropriate profile. support code:8503001f what do i do? iam an out look noob and want to use it to sync my contacts calendar and task...not so much mail! what i did so far: i tried the delete device, and reconnect, but i still get the error! i also have tried to delete my newly made profile, and made a new one, but still get the same error. the phone has never been synced before except now! iam soo stumped... mayby iam setting up my outlook wrong: how do you set it up? my computer set up: windows xp sp2 activesync 4.5.0 build-5096 microsoft outlook 2003 newest version of avast newest version of spybot this is my home pc, for some reason i cant get it to work with gmail! this is my first time trying to use outlook and active sync!
Guest Monolithix Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Do you have multiple profiles in Outlook? You can check in Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles. Make sure Outlook is closed first.
