HTC S730 is Finally Available!!

The HTC S730 is FINALLY AVAILABLE!! :( :D :D

After waiting over 10 months to upgrade my old phone, I had an e-mail at 5.15pm (Friday) to say that the S730 is now available at a site I had registered for news on availability (http://www.superetrader.co.uk/htc-s730-gps...one-p-1032.html)

I've been keeping a close eye on about 15 UK sites for price/availability on the S730 and by 5.30pm Friday had spoken to them, got them to give me free p&p & throw in a free car charger, notwithstanding the fact that their price on the S730 was the cheapest anyway! :D

The S730 seems to now be available on 3 or 4 other sites, but with p&p charges etc...

I paid £285.51 incl

I also got a fantastic deal direct from Vodafone on a sim-only contract giving me the first 9 months at half price (12 month contract), and at the end of the 12 months, you can start again with another 9 months at half price!

They also threw in 3 months free data.

If you don't ask, you don't get.

Looks like you'll be one of the first to get your hands on a Production unit. I'm eager to know if the GPS actually works on it if you could let us know when you get, that would be really appreciated B)

I've read on another forum that one person who has the Production unit tried Google Maps, and got 0 satellites so it looks like the GPS antenna is disabled/removed.
