Guest chrisash32 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Hi Guys! I have had my Vario III now for a week and wow what a nice phone it is! I would like to know if there is any tracking software that you can install on a Kaiser which uploads your position at a specified time interval. Then you can view it on a PC using Google maps or something. Example of use: You leave your phone in you car and it gets stolen, can look on your pc and track where the phone is? Would sound like a kewl app for the phone. Thanks Chris
Guest rickyburke Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 i prefer reperion. especially the google earth live tracking facility. Mologogo seems a little unstable at the moment.
Guest wizzzard Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Trackme from this thread at Xda-Developers. Google Earth and Google Maps supported. The app is being rapidly developed and is free. The author is a fantastic guy who is unbelievably responsive with bugfixes and feature requests.
Guest WILBUR Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 wow - that Trackme application is incredibly cool - i can't believe the guy just wrote it off his own back. Definately one of the best designed apps i've seen. If you haven't tried it, you should. (not that there is any REAL use, of course, but what is the point of having a GPS phone if you can't say it works with real-time google earth tracking...)
Guest Subliminal Aura Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 (edited) **** I was about to write a j2me trackeme clone :( I might just do one anyway for twittering and open source it. Downloading trackme :| Edited December 6, 2007 by Subliminal Aura
