GPRS is pretty standard between GSM providers, right?

Guest pPCp Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 I am rocking a BJ2 on t-mobile. I dont use internet so I dont know about that, but I was able to get my picture messaging working after about 3 hours. I use mine on T-Mobile too and it is working fine. I do use the internet and I have mine configured to use both standard GPRS and VPN access. It is connecting via the current Edge network which is still MUCH slower than AT&T 3G but T-Mobile's is on the way. I notice from looking in my phone network broadcast settings that I can see the new T-Mobile 3G signals are being being broadcast in my area but I can't successfully connect to the towers. I don't know any of the settings yet to test it with. I have found that I am unable to get CoPilot Live v7 to work on it no matter what I have tried thus far. I reported it to ALK but for as long as the Blackjack II has been out I would have thought they would have been informed of it already but that wasn't the case. I have tried Paul's GPSActivation to enable the MS Live Search and Google Maps to finally work but it didn't work for CoPilot. I also tried the GPSID app that Paul pulled from the SDK but again to no avail.
