Cell-ID in RIL not updated, bug?

Hi,

I wrote a little application that uses the RIL api to retrieve the cell id from the GSM. It works but after a while the data that is returned by the gsm radio is no longer up to date. The gsm radio will keep returning old values until I turn the phone off and on again using the comm manager. After that the updated values are returned again.

Does anyone have any experience with RIL and encountered similar problems?

Sounds like a problem with the RIL on the specific device you are using?
