Guest nickf123654 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 (edited) Hi. I would appreciate any help on the following problem I am having with the Shadow. I have searched for a solution online for the past hour and have found nothing. I am currently unable to install any .cab files directly from the device. I am able to transfer them to the device (usually "my documents" folder or to the micro sd root) and can navigate to the files but when I click on them to install them, nothing happens except fo the screen blinking for a second. I do not even recieve an error message. I have app unlocked the phone and this has not resolved the problem. The phone has been rebooted multiple times. I am aware that I can install a .cab through activesync using CABViaActiveSync but I would still like to be able to install them when I am mobile and a computer is not available. I have installed quite a few applications and games, one of which may have caused this problem. I will attempt to uninstall them one by one and see if I can get this resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you- Nick Just an update, I seem to have resolved this problem. I found that Trend Micro Mobile Security was preventing the phone from installing .cab files Removing this application has resolved my issue. Edited December 5, 2007 by nickf123654
