key combo for lock/unlock

does anyone know if a key combination that locks and unlocks the vario 3, i get as far as choosing 'select' but i don't know what key 'unlock' is, i know its * but i am not looking to open the keyboard to unlock the phone.

cant you just tap unlock on the screen? its pretty finger friendly

You shouldn't need * - just tapping the 'Unlock' written on the screen, or the left action key (above the Internet Explorer button) should then ask you to tap a further screen button to confirm the Unlock. Not sure about PIN locking though as I don't bother with it.

yeah i have fingers but my touch screen is bust therefore the question

it should be left soft key then right soft key to unlock

The correct combination is left softkey followed by tapping the screen or pressing *. If your screen is bust your choices are

1. opening the keyboard and pressing *.

2. getting your screen fixed.

3. not locking (not a mad as it sounds, just set the power button as the only thing that will switch the screen on and remember to switch the screen off before putting it away)
