Guest Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 :( phatman81 at xda-developers found a way to enable panoramic camera mode on his HTC Touch. The tweak works great in the Shadow as well. just change the value of "Enable" from 0 to 1 under HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera/P6 and start the camera (not need to reboot) See details at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...276&page=24 See attached picture.
Guest kwoodall Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Nice hidden feature! Now we just need someone to make a .CAB file for this to make it simple for everyone. Kermit Woodall Managing Editor GadgetNutz.com
Guest killa jay Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 that was easy thanks for the trick
Guest dumbstart Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 I just wrote a quick CAB file that will enable install a program that will change the registry setting to enable the Panorama mode. You can download it from http://www.dumbstart.com. I added the ability to restart the Shadow as well since when you disable the setting it seems stuck in that mode until you reset, when enabling it will work without reseting, when disabling it seems to require the restart. Hope this helps someone out there.
