Tech in cold climates?

I'm travelling to Norway for Christmas and as usual, was planning on taking along my normal travelling gadgets (phone, pda, digital camera and mp3 player). I'm just wondering if there are any tips from those of you in colder climates on when to use / when not to use and how best to use such equipment in these types of environments.

I know that battery life will signifcantly reduced, and fogging of camera lenses, but what other little foibles can I expect?
