Hi there,

I'm using WM6 on an HTC Touch Dual and would like to use it for listening to music via Bluetooth. However, there's too much fumbling involved for this to a be a seamless experience. I'm probably doing something wrong.

Here's what I do:

- Enable Bluetooth on my device

- Switch on Bluetooth earphones

- Go Settings->Connections, click on Bluetooth

- Click & hold on my Earphones and select "Set as wireless stereo". Also select "Set as handsfree"

- Change volume settings to MAX (else the quality is very crackly)

- Go back to media player and start music

Is there any way of shortcutting/automating all of the above? Would really appreciate some help.

Thanks,

Robin

What earphones are you you using? I have the Moto S9's and a Vario III all I have to do is switch on Blutooth, switch on headphones. Done! The motos will auto connect with in a couple of seconds and I am away.

Thanks for replying!

I have the Sony DRBT20NX headphones (see link below). If I just switch them on they don't auto-connect, I need to "Set as stereo" as per the above steps. Very tedious!

I'd be very grateful if anyone has any tips!

Thanks

Do you have a button you can press on the headset? Doing this on my Moto ones makes the phone 'see them', and they start wroking.

Robin,

I've just picked up a pair of the same earphones today and am very happy so far :-)

I've found that if you simply press the play button on the receiver after you've turned them on, this skips the Set as wireless stereo step. Not sure about the handsfree option, haven't tested that.

Enjoy...
