Guest emyllis Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 looking online, the memory costs £40 for 2 gig, which I think is expensive. Now being really dense I've not seen where it says what type of memory it is, but I'm sure I could buy it cheaper from crucial.com/uk Any advice please?!
Guest Subliminal Aura Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 (edited) http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs....T2KIT12864AC667 is what you need DDR2 at 667mhz or faster : as long as it is DDR2 and is a 200pin SODIMM. PS Anyone know if the eee can take a single 2Gig SODIMM instead of 2x1gig Edited December 10, 2007 by Subliminal Aura
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 It only has 1 slot, so 2 x 1GB won't work! P

Guest Monolithix Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Nope! You need SODIMM, laptop memory. This is the correct one: http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs....LE=CT25664AC667
