Guest adampoll Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Hi, After syncing my works spv5000 to the microsoft push exchange server, i noticed that my emails are not send instantly even though my settings are the same as a collegue whos send instantly. I have also noticed that my send/receive option has been greyed out so i am unable to press it. Any help would be a great help. Adam
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Are you running the latest ROM? I have noticed this 'greyed out' bug before, and have had to remove and reconfigure the exchange settings to fix it. P
Guest jimbouk Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Mine did that last week. Most weird.
Guest adampoll Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Im using a works device. Some collegues have this problem and some dont. Im responsible for rolling out 45 devices to members of staff and its becoming a nightmare day by day. As far as the rom, i would imagine we are not fully up to date. Will changing roms invalidate any warranty on our business contract????? I know how to setup the exchange server but dont know how to wipe it to start afresh. Thanks Adam
Guest jimbouk Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Just remove the server source in the device (or user's pc) activesync. Then re-add it. This has only happened once to mine in months.
Guest adampoll Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 hanks for the info but it didnt work, its still greyed out. hmmm
