import contatct txt coma delimeted files to pda ?

Hi, i have 5000 contacts in openofficecalc sheet i export in coma delimeted txt file ,

is there any way to import directly to the contact manager of my htc pocket pc. i'm not using outlook.

Though you don't use Outlook program itself, Outlook Express comes with Windows. I checked and there is an import addresses selection that accepts comma delimited files. This would at least get them into an Outlook contacts program. I have not checked to see if ActiveSync works with Outlook Express or not but at least getting them into an address book of some kind might get you farther along.

There isn't a way to easily do this I don't think... could you not install Outlook just for the initial sync?
