Guest moneytoo Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 (edited) File Name: FEADIE (File Extension Association for Download in IE) File Submitter: moneytoo File Submitted: 1 Dec 2007 File Category: Other - Uncategorized FEADIE helps when Internet Explorer keeps telling "Error: This file cannot be viewed on the device". Setting this file extension in FEADIE should solve this error message. In case you want to download some file and it displays as text, go to \Windows\Profiles\guest\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 and find the file by its filename. (This problem often relates CAB files because many web servers are missing Content-Type for this extension.) Requirements .NET Compact Framework (version 2 or later). http://www.smartmadsoft.com/feadie/feadie_setup.exe or http://www.smartmadsoft.com/feadie/feadie.cab More application on my site http://www.smartmadsoft.com Click here to download this file Edited December 15, 2007 by moneytoo
Guest dearsina Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 This seems like a very useful app. I'm tired of IE telling me what files I can and cannot see on my device! Thanks. Any chance of setting it up for WM6 btw? I got the "Not for this version, but might work fine none-the-less" message when I installed it... (It still runs though) Thanks for your work!
