Bizarre messaging problem

I am having a bizarre messaging problem and I am not totally sure when it started.

It seems that whenever I open a Vodafone.net POP3/IMAP email or an Outlook email or even an SMS/MMS it will not open at the top of the message but about at least two thirds down.

In the case of a one line SMS I will be scrolled down so much I will actually only see a white screen and have to scroll all the way to the top.

Does anyone know how to undo this?

Have you tweaked your device re Dpad scrolling in IE?

If so you have changed the reg key and the problem you have is a side-effect.

The key is :

\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Navigation\4-Way Nav = 1

I just found the exact same fix by search for random words on XDA and was about to post it here.

I am so glad I don't have to soft reset (and I would have been driven to it)
