Guest NickPowell77 Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Hi all, So I've got the Tytn II, bought myself an 8GB storage card and I've now hit a brick wall .... I'd like to use my phone as a back-up for the important documents I hold on my PC. I've got the phone linked-up to Mobile Device Centre (on Vista) so my emails are synchromising nicely but I can't find any option to synchronise whole folders, only individual files. Any ideas how I can get the phone to Sync folders on my PC? Thanks Nick

Guest hotphil Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Not sure about in Vista Device Manager or whatever it's called, but in ActiveSync on XP you get the option to synchronise files. A Briefcase folder is placed on your Desktop and the contents get synced. It's not something I use so I can't vouch for it. Not sure you can change the Briefcase path, but there is a registry key to define it. Might be worth a look.

Guest hotphil Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Can a folder not exist within the sync folder? Would seem a barmy limitation if not. I may give it a whirl as, having thought about it, there's a good few docs I could do with having with me on the go.
