MDA Vario 2 keyboard goes funny when on a call

Hi,

When I'm on a phone call and try to type a text message the letters which double up as numbers e.g. Y, U and I show 1,2, and 3 instead of letters, and I haven't figured out a way to make it not do that. Any one alse seen this behaviour and have a fix?? (Using T-mobile WM6)
