Phone Keypad Tones

Guys, got a bit of a weird one here...

Erm, when I change the Tone for the phone keypad from Long Tones to Short Tones, I still get the Long Tones - which, when dialing is pretty darned as hell annoying!! I could turn off the tones, but quite like em on.

On my wifes O2 Orbit, when she changes the tones they sound a lot different.

Is there something my phone's missing? If so, could someone put up the missing link on here please :(
