T-mobile releasing iPhone killer in February?

I went into the T-mobile store on Oxford street yesterday and got the guy to show me his touch dual (which he got shipped from HK). We got speaking and he told me that T-mobile are going to get an HTC ppc phone in February that is going to destroy the iPhone in terms of everything.

I forgot the name but he was drooling as he was speaking about it. Any ideas what he could have been speaking about?

might be worth waiting then... would prefer a touch cruise on tmobile than a tytnii on orange...

why is it whenever i come to upgrade, there is always afar better device due for release "soon"?

I'm not sure that the Touch Cruise is an iPhone killer though. It beats the Kaiser and the Touch Dual, but is between both in terms of the balance between functionality and size.
