SMS and wakeup

Hi all,

I've posted this message a while back but no one had an answer. Here's the issue.

I keep my phone in my pocket. I receive an SMS message. The phone wakes up and does not go back to sleep.

In fact, after every SMS the phone will not go back to sleep without me hitting the power button again.

This is a major issue for me and I'm wondering if anyone has a creative solution? Anything at all,

It's _killing_ my battery in no time.
