Guest Webreaper Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 I have an HTC TytnII (i.e., not carrier-branded) and in the last couple of days it's started behaving very oddly. Whenever I start an app (IE, CommMgr, etc - anything with a new window) it takes ages (~30 seconds plus) to start. I also see redraw problems in my email client (Pocket Outlook) and the machine is generally a big slow and labouring. Any ideas before I hard-reset?
Guest modinside Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Hi check what programs you have running, maybe a case of the memory is full. Close everything down then see how that is?
Guest Webreaper Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Yes, I've soft-reset the device about 8 times this weekend. It's nothing to do with apps that are running. I even disabled TodayAgenda and PhoneAlarm to see if that helped but no joy (and I've been running fine with both for weeks). :(
Guest pisquee Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Sounds like it is time for a hard reset
Guest pd.ryder Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Have you got either GPRS Monitor or M:Metrics monitoring software running? I've had problems with both of these apps causing my Vario II to hang repeatedly. Just a thought... :(

Hard-reset, everything's running perky again. :(
