S2U2 and a stuck MMS indicator

I'm hoping someone can help.

I've been using S2U2 for a while now and in the last week the MMS indicator is stuck on 1 item. The Kaisers MMS indicator shows no new messages. Indeed, I have deleted all new messages from my Inbox but still the indicator stays on S2U2 only.

I've checked on XDA Developers and they are adamant that it is a WM6 thing and not S2U2. I've searched for CleanMail to "delete my corrupt database" which was one suggestion, but can't find it. I've also looked for something in the registry which might show me a way to fix the problem. Nada, zilch, nothing.

I'm hoping someone here might have the answer or point me in the right direction.

on the s2u2 subject, i have had trouble in recent weeks where parts of the today screen can be seen through the s2u2 screen. when i tap the screen it does stuff to the today screen but behind the s2u2 screen and i have to soft reset :(

does anyone else have this problem and a solution to it?
