Guest Leggy Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 It would be nice to be able to "Save target as..." or "Save picture as...", as you can do when you right-click in IE on your PC, to download files and programs from the internet. At the moment, when I try to download files on my SPV, on a non-SPV site, it just says that the file cannot be viewed. Tut tut! Might be handy piece of functionality? Perhaps there might be technical or security reasons for this not being possible? Anyone got any thoughts on this one? :?
Guest Wigger Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Quite agree. That would be a useful option.
Guest yatpeak Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 I agree, I cant stand not being able to save them, but how would you get the right-click menu up? WyattIt would also be good if we could view animated gifs, rather than just the first frame. Wyatt
Guest epato Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 you can retrieve images downloaded by IE in the /windows/temporary internet files. or better open up IA Image viewer, it would search all viewable images
Guest ashley.flynn Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 maybe someone could make a third party program similar to getright where you could just add the url of the file you want to dowload and it would retrieve it
