Guest sliptide Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 (edited) I recently got a hold of a Shadow/Juno and was very interested in getting some links together for mobile streaming-- I was kinda TO'd that SomaFM doesn't offer up properly formatted MMS, RTSP, or plain HTTP streaming links on their 128kbit streams. I am too cheap to buy additional software for my phone. I'm a fan of electronic music these days.. really helps me get through my desk job. I set up some playlists from 1Club FM, along with one from c89.5 World Wide (i'm from seattle.. this is a must!) for a healthy overdose of dance, trance, house, breakbeat... I'm not sure how it works on other phones, but for the Shadow just place these into your playlists folder and tell WMP to update the library. It takes about 5-10 seconds to buffer after you press play. In the Seattle area (actually, up north a bit in Bothell.. I'll test Seattle tonight) it works flawlessly. If you dig this kind of music just give a listen.. it's radio.. so they play all sorts of styles within each genre-based station (i.e. some good songs.. some blah songs..). Enjoy! **EDIT: You don't need WiFi to get 128kbit streaming to work.. you *at least* need a solid EDGE connection and you will be golden.** WMP_ASX_Radio_Playlists.zip References: c89.5 World Wide: http://www.c895worldwide.com/web/ 1Club FM: http://my.1club.fm/ Edited December 18, 2007 by sliptide
