Close button that really closes

I wonder if someone can help me.

a friend of mine has the o2 stella and I have the Vario III

I have a close button on the today screen that closes programs but on his rom that is not there, it only minimises them.

What would he need in order to do the same? Is it part of the HTC Home plug in.

You're talking about X-Button

Is it missing from the Stellar? Can't think why O2 would remove it :( Google around and you should find a copy :D

From what he says in the first post, it sounds liek it is there but the the option to minimize is selected.

@markda2000: There should be an option section where you can select what the button does - either minimize or close the application.

Where the option is depends upon which version of X button you have.

Click on the spanner if you have V2.
