Guest johnyysmith Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 I'm new to WM6 and have yet to sort out whether its possible to easily switch from a full screen application, like Tomtom, to other running progs. Can this be done? Is there a key combination like the keyboard alt-tab? Mapping a hotkey would be cool. If it needs another prog installed is there any freeware thats recommended?
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Generally hitting 'Red' will get you back to the today screen! P

Guest Subliminal Aura Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Thanks Paul. But I had a relook at something I tried the other day and it appears to be the dogs danglies QuickMenu 2.7 from China, The best start-menu and task-switcher on PPC!!! Yup confirmed - I was suprised too that quickmenu allowed me to task switch from opera-mini. Great app :(
Guest pndragon Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 I was thinking about looking for a new app to do this same thing (mostly because of Opera mini) but then realized that if you press the OK button while having your qwerty keyboard out (using the landscape mode) it takes you to the home screen where you can then use the default task manager to switch between the tasks. Not elegant but still useful and means one less thing to add to your system.
