S710 vs HOLOX BT 541 GPS

Hi

Wonder if anyone can help me out here?

I just got a HOLOX BT541 GPS unit to use with a v1415 - my o/h uses the HOLOX BT321 with his E650 so I figured my combination should also be okay.

I can see the GPS as a new BT device but TomTom mobile 5.2 won't pick up the GPS. (have set it to use COM6 as instructed) Same thing happens on his E650.

I have tested his BT321 GPS with my phone and also another brand of GPS unit - both pair up with the phone/TomTom fine.

A colleague then tested the BT541 with his PDA and it IS working, just not with my v1415 or his E650.

Any ideas anyone?

Hah. Typical. Have got it working but I thought I would describe what I did in case anyone ends up stuck like I did.

From this thread:

I applied pr0spers unlock util.

And then from this thread:

I ran bchenoweths .cab to sort out the registry.
