change wifi name?

is it possible to change the wifi name? the name that shows up on the router when i am connected.

I would like to change it from: WM_(my name) to: hansemann

is this possible?

It is, you can do it in a GUI in SKTools if I remember rightly.

I'm pretty sure it's in the registry, so your best bet would be to put on a registry editor and do a quick search. I would look, but I don't have a Smartphone to hand right this second :(

i found the right string. it is in HKLM\\Ident\Name
