Guest Menneisyys Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Opera Mini (see review, comparison & tutorial HERE) is my favorite Web browser now that version 4 added seamless bookmark synchronization and full page view capabilities. Up until now, it had problems with pages having several images: it didn’t show them in their entirety / flashed them all the time etc. The just-released new version, available for download HERE, is stated to have solved this issue. Also note that, in the meantime, there have been a lot of news with the “use Opera Mini as the default system-level browser!” project. See THIS for the latest news.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 Much as I like Mini, I REALLY look forward to Opera Mobile V9 if it has the same rendering engine as Mini! P
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 (which apparently it will!) You just can't beat a native app... P
Guest spookydownunder Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Guys, I have just bought and touch dual, should arrive tomorrow. I have read a few threads talking about opera mini, is this the best browser for me to use/instal? Better than sticking to windows IE? Do I need to do anything other than get the latest version from mini.opera.com, and install it? Or should I just wait for opera 9?
