Guest jpwoof Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 HKEY_Local_Machine - Software - Microsoft - Internet Explorer - AboutURLS change "Home" value from http://home to anything you like.
Guest andy_sutton Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 HKEY_Local_Machine - Software - Microsoft - Internet Explorer - AboutURLS change "Home" value from http://home to anything you like. Any idea how to make it go to the Favorites list rather than a website? I tried just deleting the entry and leaving it blank but it gives an error then. I don't want it to go anywhere until I tell it to.
Guest turnerh Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 HKEY_Local_Machine - Software - Microsoft - Internet Explorer - AboutURLS change "Home" value from http://home to anything you like. Has anyone else had problems with this. My Home value is changed, shows up http://google.com after rebooting. But browser still wants to go to http://home. Please help.
Guest BRaVO503 Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 I know this isnt really helping but have you considered using opera? its a great browser you can almost see full pages normally if you set the zoom to 50% and set the smallest font size to 20
Guest thelostsoul Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 It works for me. I set it to google.com and launching Internet Explorer (not MediaNet) launches google.com. Remember, MediaNet is a link, not a browser. Internet Explorer is the browser, so launching IE launches the homepage, launching MediaNet launches the medianet page. Also, I used the SurrealNetworks patch found here: http://mobile.surrealnetworks.com/AppUnlockReg.htm Perhaps that does it?
