Guest solomonk Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 (edited) Hi, all! A little question I'd like to have your opinion about. The problem is that sometime it's more comfortable to design a game in landscape mode 320x240 rather than portrait 240x320. So I have an idea to programmicaly change the screen orientation to landscape on startup and change it back to original on exit. How do you feel about that? Edited December 28, 2007 by solomonk
Guest doctormetal Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 A lot of games would be better in landscape mode. I don't mind if it switches to landcape mode. I had some software which rotated the screen the wrong way (at least for my tytn II). The result was that I had to hold the device with the hardware keyboard on top instead of at the bottom. Makes typing a bit difficult. It should be user selectable if the screen rotates clockwise or counter clockwise.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 Seems perfectly reasonable if that's the optimum experience. P
